- Southern Utah University (SUU) is located in Utah. Do I need to attend classes there?
- SUU is offering all online programs this year with three face-to-face meetings at Palo Verde and/or Foothill High School.
- I fill out the application and hit the submit button and nothing happens.
- First, make sure you are using a 10-digit phone number (eg. 7025551212, required due to people having cell phones with different area codes). Secondly, make sure you agree to the disclaimer (check the checkbox). If neither of these solutions resolve the issue and you are using a school computer, you may need to use your home computer.
- I don't know my InterAct email address. What should I do?
- Go into the First Class/InterAct Program. Click on "Help Desk" > "Email Look Up" and type in your name. This is your InterAct address.
- I received my verification email, but the link doesn’t work.
- This happens because the link is being cut in half. The remaining part of the link (that will look something like this: 9EAAB55B587DB&uid=212) will be on the line beneath the link and will need to be added to the link when you copy it into your browser (you will not be able to click the link in this case).
- Is there a limit to the amount of students that can enroll in a program?
- Yes, however as programs begin to fill up we will contact the universities to see if another section may be offered. The website will be updated daily and any additional sections will be reflected there.
- What are my requirements for maintaining a grade point average?
- In order to successfully complete a program, one must earn an "A" or a "B" in each of the six courses.
- I have recently attained a degree/endorsement in Special Education, can I take a Special Education program through CTE?
- There are several outstanding programs from which to choose. In order to receive a high-quality professional development experience, we recommend choosing an entirely different genre.
- I participated in a CTE program last year and would like to take another. The program I am interested in has a course that I have already taken. Can I still take the program and move across on the salary schedule?
- No! As a standard practice, one cannot receive credit twice for the same course (double dipping). Simply choose another university or pick an entirely different program and content.
- Do you offer any online programs?
- Yes, please see program listings.
- Will I have to attend classes on CCSD holiday weekends or during Thanksgiving, etc.?
- No. A yearly calendar will be provided and is forthcoming including all designated class times.
- Where are the campuses located for classes?
- Convenient locations throughout the area.
- Am I able to enroll in more than one program at a time?
- You can take up to two (2) programs simultaneously. Please call us at (702) 697-0006 for more information on taking 2 programs.
- How many programs do I need to take?
- Refer to the 'Do I Qualify' tab.
- Can I change programs after I have submitted?
- Yes, but you will have to pay a $25 change fee. Once we have told the universities that a class has filled up due to submissions on the web, they begin to plan their classes and instructors. If members change programs, this causes a problem for all. Please be thoughtful as you select a program.
- Is there a fee for dropping a program prior to the first day of class?
- Yes, a fee of $25 will be assessed if you drop a program within 72 hrs. prior to the first day of class.

- No, CTE will take care of processing all payroll deduction requests.
- Will my program lead to an endorsement?
- Any license renewal or endorsement questions should be directed to the Nevada State Dept. of Education. Check their website for information and phone numbers.
